Bruce and Cheryl live close to Tampa in the beautiful state of Florida. Cheryl is originally from Allentown, PA and Bruce from Calgary, Canada. They moved to Florida because they knew they had to meet each other and fall in love! Bruce is a sociologist by training, while Cheryl works in the insurance industry. They share their home with Chloe, their Chihuahua guard dog.
Bruce and Cheryl are both passionate about traveling, learning, and the joy of discovering the soul of America, beer by beer. Their goal is to visit the oldest bar in every state, learn about both the past significance and present-day meaning of the place, make new friends along the way, and to write a book about their discoveries. Ask them if they are alcoholics and they’ll turn to each other, smile, and answer in unison, “We’re not alcoholics, we’re alcohol enthusiasts!”
